THE DEEPER DIVE
Down the Rabbit Hole
Not for the faint of heart.
You’ve heard the phrase, “The devil made me do it.”
What if that idea isn't quite as far-fetched as it sounds?
There is an old esoteric concept called loosh—a term used to describe emotional or psychic energy believed to be produced by living beings.
The idea is that our emotions create different kinds of energy. Love, joy, and connection are considered higher frequencies, while fear, anger, grief, and resentment are thought to create something much heavier.
And then the rabbit hole gets deeper.
Some esoteric traditions and modern paranormal theories speak of shadow beings or astral parasites—entities said to attach themselves to a person's energetic field and feed from prolonged negative emotional states.
Think of it as an energetic parasite: something that doesn't create the emotion, but benefits when you stay stuck in it.
Anger. Fear. Addiction. Resentment. Blame.
The theory suggests that the longer we remain in those states, the more energy they have to feed on.
Sounds like something from a sci-fi movie, doesn't it?
Maybe it is.
Or maybe there's another way to look at the idea.
Regardless of whether you believe in astral entities, there is something interesting hidden inside the theory:
What happens when we stop feeding the things that keep us unhappy?
Let go of the grudge.
Step away from the anger.
Break the cycle.
Change the thought.
Choose something lighter.
Maybe there are no shadow beings waiting in the wings.
Maybe the real power of the rabbit hole is simply discovering how much of our energy we give away without realizing it.
And if that's the case…
perhaps the best way out is to stop feeding the darkness.
Welcome back to the light. 🐇
